The recruitment of volunteers who teach the workshops to the children, is responsability of Human Resources Management. It aims to have presence in the Community Service Fair from ITESM university. The volunteers are part of the SSC website Tec, as well as through e-mail of the foundation. Also published in the universities, dates, time and place of the information meetings and interviews. Many volunteers come to the foundation after seeing the children show the fruit of their efforts in an event.
Currently the Foundation is authorized by the ITESM and Udem universities to give community service hours to students to teach workshops. Students from other universities have participated only as volunteers.
Currently 200 volunteers are trained and have a code of ethics which contains clear rules for development of excellence of the workshop and of course for the welfare of the children. The volunteers teach two workshops per week, lasting about an hour each. Groups of children who take the workshops are a maximum of 15, so greater attention can be given to everyone. Many children are enrolled in two or three workshops at the same time, so to say one child can be per week in of flute classes, tae kwon do, and physical recreation.
Is fundamental to the foundation that volunteers make weekly reports on what they observe in the children. Because of this, volunteers have identified children in need of glasses, and hearing problems, and emotional problems that can be corrected with a professional care that you comment on the case

All volunteers have a code of ethics developed by the Foundation in collaboration with the shelters to promote the full development of the child
Peace begins with Children strives to provide the volunteer instructor of all materials required to give a workshop of excellence to children. their is also training and monthly meetings of the dynamics, with invited experts in the field of child maltreatment that teach how to promote self-esteem in children and to give a lecture to the volunteers so they can learn more and do a better social service .
To provide better service for the shelters we have monthly meetings with the managers to evaluate the results for continuous improvement strategies and innovations. All of them have expressed that the workshops have been of help and that the children develop their talents and have improve in academics, attitude, skills, confidence, and they have significantly reduced escapes at the orphanages.
So that volunteers can provide quality classes, there must be anadult and professional by the institution that continuously monitorthe workshops work for the child's development. If there is a problem that the volunteer does not know how to handle the adulttrained in the area will support it if necessary.
We provide the equipment needed to make better use ofworkshops such as: ballet slippers, tae kwon do costumes, soccer balls, basketball and softball, flutes, keyboards, percussion, African and Latin American instruments, guitars, tuned bells, xylophones, metallophones, patterned books, CDs with children's music and everything that the children and the instructor require for good performance of the workshops.
At the foundation we strive to maintain continuous and effective communication with the children, foster homes and volunteers in order to improve our performance and guide the children to enjoy and make them more fully developed as human beings.
